About Our School
We originally opened our doors in 2012 and as we grew our team of pet stylists, we quickly discovered we had a great passion for delivering training and helping beginners become talented pet stylists.
As we have always operated as a busy grooming salon alongside a training school for our staff members our progression into becoming a training school has been a very natural transition. Our students can have confidence in knowing their trainer was once in their position with no experience and are now able to groom to a very high standard thanks to our dog grooming school.
With over a 10 years in an incredibly busy salon and have participated in many training events held at our salon by some of the most respected and talented groomers within the industry from across the world. Our salon follows all the latest global trends and we continuously attend training days to keep us at the forefront of the pet grooming industry.
We are a very versatile, passionate and dedicated school and salon and we will be able to share many different skills with you. Our main passion is Asian Fusion style grooming, creative colouring and working with and educating our clients on coat maintenance so that we can achieve stunning but manageable looks for their dogs.
You can feel confident when booking your training with us that you are in very capable hands with passionate and professional staff that will guide you through your dog grooming journey to become the Pet Stylist you have always dreamed of. We also provide you with business advice from our salon owner Leanne to give you a great head start and some professional direction into the world of business.
Our students will leave our school with the highest standard of technical and professional competence. Alongside last line, our school operates on a strict one teacher to four student basis for optimum learning.

Have you always dreamt about working with dogs? Don’t know where to start? Our ten-day introduction to dog grooming course could be the perfect route for you.
In this course you will gain first-hand experience in the cleaning, preparing, and light grooming of various coats. This course is ideal for anyone wishing to apply for a position as a pet stylist assistant or looking to learn the foundations of dog grooming before using the tools.

20-day course
If you have completed our first ten-day course this is the perfect additional learning for you. Once you have mastered the correct methods of bathing and preparing coats then grooming and styling is the next step for you.
Upon completing this course, you will have learned all of the essential skills of dog grooming to practice, practice, and practice to make Pawfect in your new profession.

If you would like to start your new career with a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience this is the course for you.
The course will run the same syllabus as our twenty-day course but will allow you an additional ten days of hand on grooming with additional breeds. This course will cover a larger selection of breeds and cover a wider range of grooming scenarios.

10-Day Introduction to Dog Grooming
Course Length: 10 days
Course Availability: Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday
Course Time: between the hours of 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Course Contents:
- General salon management
- Bathing and prepping coats on various breeds
- Fluff drying and detangling matted coats
- Nail clipping and ear cleaning
- Basic dog grooming techniques (paw pads, trim to eye area)
Course Objective:
This introductory course is designed for individuals with little or no experience who wish to learn basic grooming skills. It is ideal for those considering a career change or those who want to groom their own pets at home. The course includes both coursework as well as practical work. The coursework focuses on animal well-being, basic grooming and anatomy.
Outcome:
Upon successful completion, students receive an in-house certification and gain the knowledge to work as a dog grooming assistant in a salon or self-employed.
All our students have the option to then add on additional days to make their course up to 20 or 30 days in length priced at an additional £1000 per each block of 10 days booked.
20-Day Professional Pet Stylist course

What can I expect?
The most popular course that we deliver, our 30-day course is run exactly like the 20-day course except you have an extra 10 days tuition. The additional time studying allows you to cover a wider range of breeds, coat types and behaviours, and general day-to-day dog grooming situations.

Upon sitting our 30-day course you can also opt to sit a national Qualification with our chosen partner AIM. This incurs an additional charge paid directly to the accessing body. Our students can choose to sit the award, certificate, or diploma depending on their background and grooming capabilities.
Course Objective:
This intensive program is designed for individuals seeking a complete career change and aiming to gain a recognized qualification. It covers all aspects of dog grooming, and business management, and prepares students to run their own salon.
Unlike many schools, we have an array of time-served tutors that are all incredibly talented. We do not deliver any other courses in our school as our specialty is dog grooming and we are very proud to say this is why we are helping so many of our wonderful students create a rewarding successful brand new career.
We have post-completion support in our very busy WhatsApp group even when you leave you are not alone.

You have the option when enrolling onto our 20 or 30 day course to sit a national qualification assessed by AIM. There will be an additional fee for this certification and you can choose to sit either an award, certificate or diploma.
